Fall Festival & Street Fair The 28th annual Fall Festival and street fair - with its colorful sidewalk displays, music, entertainment and Garden High School Homecoming Day Parade is set for Saturday, October 28th featuring super side walk sales, fabulous food, special events and activities. |

Village Holiday Tree Lighting The 51th Village Tree Lighting at the Gazebo on the Village Green, near Village Hall, will feature the Village Music Makers and the Garden City High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble, directed by Robert Ludwig – along with Santa Claus and hot chocolate provided by the Garden City Fire Department. |

Easter Vintage Car Parade The Chamber’s 51st Annual Easter Vintage Car Parade and Show is set for Easter Sunday, April 8th. Thousands of spectators line the streets to view the stream of hundreds of vintage vehicles, beginning at 1 pm, at Franklin Avenue and Tenth Street. Kiwanis’ Easter Bunnies will hand out lollipops to the youngsters, and the renowned Banjo Rascals will entertain. |

Belmont Stakes Festival To celebrate the Belmont Stakes Festival, Seventh Street in Garden City will come alive with festival fans from 6pm and will last well into the night as local revelers gear up for the 136th running of the “Test of the Champion.” The Festival Parade begins at 7 pm with marching bands, floats, antique cars and more. As the parade winds down, the fun continues as clowns, street performers and local bands entertain the crowd expected to be in the neighborhood of 14,000. A must for any Belmont Stakes enthusiast! |
